To compete with the 1939 Worlds fair in New York, San Francisco staged a big shindig of their own.
One of the most popular attraction was a puppet(marionette) show by Levi Strauss Co. It was so popular,
after the summer they set up the show in this mobile rig and took it on the road to dozens of small cities
throughout the western states.
