Good links, Billy. A lot of people having fun without anyone questioning or criticizing. The desert in August can be a real challenge though.

If I thought for a second that I could tolerate the heat, I would *so* be at Burning Man sometime. What crazed, creative, balls-out function it must be!

I took a gander at those links Billy posted and I was actually expecting to see ya in one Els. I was going to ask if you had ever gone, but I decided to ask coven questions instead Nevada, in August, only gets to about 115F air temp. max., but I wouldn't recommend sitting on the ground. I've measured ground temps. up to 160F and that was in the late morning. Mid-day I'd definitely head to the air-conditioned RV or at least to the "Big Tent".

Several folks from one of the other forums I frequent went this year. If Burning Man is anything like I've been told, there is little possibility that one can be disappointed in going. Well, unless you are against that sort of feckless debauchery and wonton wackiness. Money and transportation allowing, I will be going next year...

Did anyone else read that Onion article, last week or so, about no one being able to make it to Burning Man? I tried to find it online, but no luck. It was hilarious. If you've got a link, oh media savvy ones, please post it. Thanks.

Funny too! but this one was a bit longer, interviewing organizers and numerous souls who, for various reasons, could not make it this year. Perhaps its...gone.

I've met a lot of Todd Kelsos. That article could be absolutely straight.
