I think this line's mostly filler.

That's pretty cool. From imagination, or is there a model?

I hate to be critical, but you forgot to add color.

Um, even in greyscale it looks fabulous.

I should take more time to learn Illustrator. If only I can get my two-month-old desktop to work again.

half model/half imagination, I'll try colour sooner or later but I want to get a better grip on shading in b+w first.

Illustrator is great fun, while this is fairly 'straight' work, you can be really creative as well and turn out some pretty stunning effects.

i like it. It's got drama.

The hands are a bit man-ish

The nose and chin area seem a bit disproportionate to me. But it's a beatiful style overall.

The nose is looking a tad big, yea the hands look a little man-handish but getting them to work at all was work enough, they were mostly from scratch so I'll live with it

This is concept work of sorts for a project (which is also why there is the wierd tatoo-thing on her arm) and partly just learning how to use vectors with a modicum of skill.

I dunno about the illustrator stuff at all....but if you was inking this thing... the shade/tint action around the eyes is a bit wierd- the lack of eyesockets. that effects the nose foreshortening too. you could also do with some subtle contouring/shading around the collar bone/ neck area. Good image though...

I tried eye sockets, I found the effect too heavy but you're dead on, I need to do a more subtle job of it. Some more stuble shading in a few areas might help, I might go back and have some fun with the airbrush.

Maybe a darkened upper lip, too? or varied contoured line between lips? Getting dimension with the stark graphics is very tricky. But fun to play with, eh?

The line actually does have a fair bit of variety, a fair bit of detail is lost here, it works best at A4/300DPI or so but once again, you're right the top lip could do with some more shading, thanks! You're really useful.

The under eye shadows bug me. maybe the shade the side of the face?, temples? neck looks better. the light source is a bit inconsistent from tank top to face and shoulders. (Right top in shadow) ...? Fiddle fiddle.
