Nah we don't do it when we drive (we flew this time)

Seaworld Today. Boy do my feet hurt. Kraken was great and Manta was AWESOME Oh and the sea animals were pretty cool too. Shamu says "hi cellar!" in a very naff way.

Kennedy Space Center today. We hung around afterwards to see the shuttle land -we weren't able to see anything, but we heard the sonic boom, which was pretty cool

Now that the shuttle missions are winding down, I kind of regret never having seen a launch. 4 more opportunities. But I doubt I'll make the effort.

Did anyone see the video of the atlas 5 eating the sundog? It's incredible. Money shot is around 1:50 -- wait for it!

Wow. So rocket goes through cirrus layer that is already refracting the light, and the shock waves of it's passing refracts it in an especially groovy way.
