Weekend in Newawlins?

Hey all - i've been really wrapped up in my practice for the last two months so I am completely oblivious to the state of repair in NO. for my timeshare I still have 4 extra free days in NO to use between now and April 1st.

Has it recovered to the point that drunken debauchery can be had without too much guilt?

Mrs Lookout and I haven't been to NO since 8/04. we had a blast - you may have seen the pics... if you were willing to pay .

we are ready for another quick weekend getaway, but don't want to waste the time if the city isn't ready to entertain us. (yes i am aware that by making that statement, i have cemented my status as vile self-centered scum, but what the hell...)

Lookout, you doll!--I think the French Quarter is coming back to life, and, isn't Nawlins really the French Quarter? I say go, if for no other reason than to pump some of that capitalist pig money into the economy! Yay!

They appear to be open but choose your footwear before you tackle those big ass beers.

It's the latest style. Kind of like when Michael wore just one glove.

Hey, I've a ship coming into Nola next week with a load of coconut oil on it to be discharged there. I know it has nothing to do with the other stuff being talked about but it was the obvious place to let you know. Will have more details about it on Monday. Bet you can all hardly wait..... Ship's name is 'Sardegna' for those who might want to do some local investigating before then....

alright then, i'm going to make my reservations this weekend... new orleans or vegas? been to both, enjoyed them both, have pictures of the miss's in both...

is nawalins ready for us, or should we just hit vegas again? we don't get enough time together away from real life and our businesses, so when we do get away, i want it to count...

I'd vote Vegas, but I'd have voted Vegas before the hurricane too.
