My fiance just finished painting a giant movie screen on the store wall. He still has to remove the blue tape, but it's lookin' really cool so far.

She will be here in about 1.5 hours. I met her parents weeks ago. She's meeting mine today. Awesome.

The weather is good. It's Friday and we leave at 4. I have a three day weekend away from the megalomaniac. Tomorrow I am planting flowers.

I've just picked up a flyer for a new take-away that delivers Japanese food. Yay!
Okay, I shouldn't really (can't afford it) but currently trying to decide between: Chicken Katsu Super Bento Box (Chicken breast in breadcrumbs, sticky rice, pickles, vegetable salad, salmon sashimi and miso soup) or Assorted Sushi Bento (3 crabstick maki, 3 pickle radish maki, 3 crab roes maki, 2 tiger prawn sushi, 2 egg nigri, 2 crab roes sushi, 2 salmon sushi, 2 California maki with sesame) at twice the price. I may order neither, but just the menu is making me happy!

Go with the chicken, it sounds like it's cooked.

Wouldn't you know it - I just checked the front of the menu and it says Monday- Closed.
Then right underneath that Bank Holidays Open as Usual. I am baffled - today is a Bank Holiday and Bank Holidays are only ever on a Monday. Oh except you occasionally get a Bank Holiday on Tuesday if Boxing Day falls on a Sunday (don't ask, just accept it's not relevant today). I'm not fussed by the food not being cooked Bruce. Raw fish yumyum. I just have to decide if I want to try ordering now - how upset will I be if I have made the decision and am all ready to order, only to get an answerphone

I respectfully disagree.
I went for a kebab anyway, just across the road and saved myself a minimum of £4 after all. But whooooeeeee do I have onion breath! I'm off to the kissing thread to share it around

What did you think?
Was there an intermission? There was in the UK and it felt really odd.
