				2 tv questions

. . . and stuff 1) I'm addicted to captions on my tv; and CBS is pissing me off about it; or at least, several of the prime time shows' captions are not showing up on my tv. I'm at a loss. 2) I've been "selected" by Neilsen apparently. Should I bother with that?

			1) Sometimes mine works oddly also. I play with the different types of captions and usually messing around gets it right. I find that its typically something that I did accidentally. 2) OH hell yeh! Pick all kinds of weird shit and leave your tv on all night

			1) It usually depends on how the captions were typed in. And if it's a live show, forget it. 2) Pick the most outlandish shit and let the tv go all night. "Sex Games Cancun" followed by "Hostel".

We say subtitles over here. I am also addicted to them. If I'm watching something after the 'rents go to bed (about the only time I do watch) then I'll often switch over if subtitles are not available. It's the only way I can "hear" what's being said/ important background noises without the background and incental music being too loud.
