				Slow Down ...

you're typing faster than I can read. Gawddamn I'm funny. But seriously, is anyone else having problems with The Cellar loading today? Since about 1100 EDT or so I've been on intermittently and loading is slow and stuttering (not in a Mel Tillis kind of way). I am not having this problem on other sites I'm going to (including ones using vBulletin).

Yes, something is slowing down the Cellar. Either the server is undergoing maintenance, the Cellar is being attacked, or there are a large number of people viewing posts. I only see 74 guests right now, so I'm guessing something is going on with the server.

I'm guessing that the Cellar's ISP is having routing trouble or they are being attacked. The T1 is not overloaded and the system itself is pretty inactive.

Never mind, I think it was a local networking glitch. Just rebooted and things seem snappier.

Yes, seems fine now. Thanks, whether the fix was based on your intervention, things at the ISP end clearing up, or just plain magick.
