Happy Father Day
Blesss all the fathers and men. In China we don't have this festival. I think it is a good day to say "Thank you", " Sorry" and "I love you" to fahter.

Thanks!
You're right, it is good to remember your parents. Even if the holiday itself is mostly manufactured. (I'm actually plotting with the kids to have Mother's Day this week... my wife's been having a shitty time at work and she needs to be reminded more than usually that not everybody takes her for granted.) |

I got the most bitchin' new gas grille for Father's Day...it looks like a Jetson's style robot or something. Cooked a nice big thick steak on it to break it in. Deluxe!
When it was presented to me, I was also presented with a wonderful little speech of praise and gratitude from the older of my two stepchildren. I'm not very comfortable with such displays of acknowledgement, but I was truly touched. My own son was similarly grateful and even paid for half the grille...not a bad gesture from a kid who just lost over $1,500 worth of his own posessions a few weeks ago. Best Father's Day ever for me, and it is only just now the actual day.

Thanks Billy! I got two handmade cards and a peanut butter sundae mmm.... I also got the morning to take a road ride with the guys. The ride (35 miles at 18.4 mph we'll do better next time) forced me to hork up the last of the green goop thats been inhabiting my lungs so all in all its been a fine day.

My father always used to say that pain was the best teacher. He'd also always tell me how stupid I was.
Man, what a great guy. |

In China we don't like say this words. I want to to say it to my families, but I am afraid that you would be surprised on that.
