				Manchester Passion

For those in the UK, or that have access to BBC Three, the Manchester Passion is on BBC Three at 7pm on Good Friday. It's basically the story of Easter told through the music of Manchester. I watched it last year, and while I'm not religious by any stretch of the imagination, I thought it was brilliant. Definetly recommended.

Presumably then you will have lived in/around Manchester when the sorts of bands whose songs are in this show were at their peak, which is something I wish I could say. Of the top of my head there are songs by: The Smiths/Morrissey The Stone Roses James Joy Division New Order Unbelievable how productive Manchester was in terms of music at that time. Still doesn't do badly today.
