Hippie Bracelet

Long long ago, and far far away, I bought this hippie bracelet kit, mostly because I didn't believe the instructions.
Just a strip of light leather with the snap halves on each end and two slits.

The instructions work, much to my amazement, so you don't need no stinkin kit.
Lots of different material will work, so save these instructions and you can amaze and amuse your kids.

I guaranty, If I can do it anyone can. Although I colored it to make sure I was following it right.

I did it with paper, which is not the proper material for the task.

Not gonna post pics, though, since a) it's not convenient at the moment, and b) it looks mostly like a crumple.
