We can't compete with that.

Pops-in-law is supposed to bring some family heirloom glass balls over, but I suspect he won't make it by western Christmas. If they show we'll post.

I have the entire set of Hallmark Star Trek Ornaments. Just the ships, not the people ones they started bringing out to make us buy more and more.

Oh, and I got this year's Darth Vader.

Some day I will have a large enough tree to hold the number of strands of lights necessary to display them (you can only plug in two animated ornaments per strand).

Wolf - my Dad has the whole ship set too. My mom bought him one of those color changing artificial trees for them, and she sets it up in the kitchen. I honestly can't remember if she plugs any of the ornaments in.... I will check tomorrow.
It looks totally out of place in their very traditional house, but all the kids love it. (plus it beats her dorky teddy bear/ candy themed tree she used to put up)

ps - dang, I want a vader ornament. Was it Hallmark?

Yep. Says "Luke, I am your Father" and everything.

I would have also picked up the Locutus of Borg ornament, but they sold out.

Cripes. It's sold out! We don't have a Hallmark store here, so I guess I'm off to eBay....

LJ has the whole set of ships too, but they didn't make the cut this year. Actually, we missed a whole bin of ornaments when decorating, but the tree is smaller this year so its ok...
Here's a few favorites

antique

Paddington

and food. I have a lot of food ornaments...
