I have this conviction (wrong though it may be) that with one shoe off, everyone can see there's clearly something wrong with that foot, but with both off, I just look like a damn hippie. Turns out when I say "fuck what everyone thinks," I actually mean "my behavior is excusable, so please, please, everyone still like me." |

And I should clarify that I am still barefoot all the time inside the hotel room. It's when, say, we're walking downstairs to the restaurant, and I drop the shoe on the floor and slip my foot in right as we cross the threshold so they can't try any "no shirt, no shoes..." nonsense.

I have enough difficulty wearing them outside of the house. What was that about hippie?

I never used to wear shoes or slippers in the house unless it was cold - until I moved into mum's house for a couple of years after I left J - nothing is on a level in that house. There's always weird little steps up or down into rooms. And it's all stone. Stubbed my toes frequently. Then I moved into my own weirdly misshapen little house and continued to stub my toes. Now I hate not having at least slippers on.

I have gotton alot of 8 track tapes that were not taken care of,the tape is all unwound inside and sometimes its beyond trying to fix it..... Sometimes i get VHS tapes that the person rewinds it witrh one of radio shack pieces of crap rewinders THAT SLAM THE TAPE AST FULL SPEED AT THE END and it comes off the spool!!! Thankfully I have been able to fix some of those........ MY CONCLUSION?? Most people dont care about anyone else and its sad........ They just want $$$$$$ and they dont care if it works or not....... Its sad they dont value this beautiful stuff better...... | |

If they tell you it works and it doesn't, then get your money back. If they sell it as is, then you are taking your chances buying 40 year old plastic stuff. |

Ok I take Warfarin. Once in awhile I cut myself or tear skin messing with the bike. Might as well get the out the box of Kleenex to stem the flow. So I read in the Savy Senior to use ground black pepper on the wound. It works and if left on it long enough there is no scar. I have to wait on that as I have freckles. Anyways I tried it before I mentioned it here.
