I only read one of his books--"Galapagos." But I enjoyed it a great deal.

OMG! That's horrible. He was a great writer and a very wise man. It's sad that he will never see us get out of this mess. |

I never read that one. My favorites were Breakfast of Champions, Cat's Cradle, Sirens of Titan, and Slaughterhouse Five.

I suppose Slaughterhouse-Five was his masterwork. I remember being not at all thrilled with Welcome to the Monkey House, which was the last Vonnegut I read -- that "Hi ho" catchphrase plucked at my temper even as a college sophomore. I haven't cracked the covers on a Vonnegut since -- a lot of his material did not age well.
