I'm short too. Tulip, but I have never really thought about clothes making me look shorter. This dress looks like it would complement a smaller frame and I am all about accenting my petite-ness. The 80's were horrible for me with all the long jackets, bulky sweaters and big shoulder pads.

Tulip, the dress looks great, and you'd look great in it too. On the other hand, you'd look great in nothing.

Thanks everyone for your input, especially the ones about being short. I feel better about being tiny now. Greatly appreciate it. Quote:
The worse person is actually my mom. To make a long story short, recently she told me I look fat as this girl who's a size 12. Quote:
I think the 80's was bad for everyone. Quote:

I don't mind being short too much until I have to put a stool on top of a chair so I can reach something. Quote:
I didn't mean to write "too short." I think I was in a rush when I wrote that. But thank you for your comment. Quote:
Those fashion magazines always advised petite people to wear short skirt to lengthen short legs. I was afraid a long skirt may make me look only a foot high. I was gonna say a stump but I don't intend to be round when I wear a nice dress. | ||||||

Tulip I think the dress looks good, flowing elongate and I think the dress will look good on you. However, you make the dress look good not the other way around.

Looks good to me. And as for height, I don't think that being a drawback of any kind.
