Adopted from the animal shelter together. Siblings are happier than singletons, in my opinion.

that was the box that held the case of blueberries I bought from the local bulk restaurant supply store (I'm going again today. list: margarine, baking powder, baking soda, bread x2, milk x2, coffee beans, sangria, bacon, 2 gal ziplocs, vanilla, frozen chicken, flour, sour apple carmel suckers, chocolate chips). I froze a lot of the blueberries, I ate a lot of them fresh, made numerous smoothies with them, I even dried a quart on a baking sheet making little blueberry "raisins". I love me some blueberries.

My beautiful beloved cat opened my nose up this morning. Jumping from the floor onto my bed, his scrabbling claws gave me a groove over my left nostril (right if you're looking at me). It's shallow, but it's there. Thanks Babba. But it does validate my "not on the pillow unless the bedside light is on" rule. Which has meant some cuffing and hissing (from me) but is generally understood. Just not today - the clocks have changed and it was dark in the "snooze" minutes, but I was obviously awake.

I second that ouch... Also, add my own: Pilau just accidentally clawed my face. Not badly. There's no blood. Just some white scrawp lines turning red:p My own fault. Let my face get too near whilst wrassling his toy off him. Bless him, his eyesight ain't so great and his depth perception is more than a little sucky. Still wants to play though. I fuckin love that about him. 13 years old, frail old man who wobbles when he walks and starts swaying like a towerblock in a high wind if he has to stand still for more than a few minutes...but he still likes to play :p

Thought I should introduce the newest member of our family... Jackson!! Lucy was so distraught when we put Clyde to rest, that we went and got her a new mate. He's soooooo gorgeous. American Bulldog Pic 1 - as a baby Pic 2 - as a brute, but I need to update his pic as he is taller than Lucy now and very gangly. |

Very nice ! "handsome" comes to mind on 1, and a "moment in time" on 2 It intrigues me how concerned dogs get when their owner's head is lower than their own. |

Beauty! Look at those massive paws in that baby pic. I do like seeing the big paws that baby big dawgs sport. The sign that this animal is going to be much bigger. LL, my Bean (RIP) really enjoyed it when he got to the top of the stairs first, and as you followed him up, your head was suddenly at his level. He would go into play mode and sometimes playfully boof at you. Sometimes I would stay at the middle of the stairs and keep the game going awhile. |

Took a photo of the Mia-cat today, in order to make a personalised Christmas card to the 'rents from the cats. She's on their bed; they put a towel down for her to sleep on so she doesn't shed all over it. She is much more friendly to me these days, as I am the first one up. I let her in, give her a meat stick treat and sometimes a licking of my leftover cereal milk. I clean her eyes and often sneak in a little cuddle, which she protests weakly about, but we both know she could scratch me to buggery if she really hated it. She's a peculiar little thing, but she's a cat, so I love her anyway. Old lady now.
