And cut off its trunk to hide its massive support structure too, I guess. It looks like it fell in a sinkhole.

Is it the picture or is the tree leaning badly to the right? Looks like it's gonna tip over. That would be a damn shame....

Everything else in the picture appears to be leaning to the right in the same way (fence posts etc) so the pic isn't level.

I just came across a video of a similar situation. Helicopter tows a stalled pleasure boat. Pilot not as skilled as the one in the picture above.
