Nuts to YOU!
I adore nuts--all kinds of nuts. I can't really think of a nut I don't like. Lately, I've been enjoying Spanish Peanuts (a deal at 1.72 at Kroger!) but my very fave is the Whole Cashew--Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Pure delish! I also love peanut sauce and peanut butter---I often spread my toast with Chunky and then sprinkle Spanish Peanuts over it----AHhhhhh! Bliss!

Isn't that cannibalism? BWAA HAA HAA
I'm partial to pecans and walnuts and cashews and those really big ones with a derogatory name. Oh - and Macadamia nuts - I can eat a whole can in one bite.

Almonds. Salted. When I've killed the can, I lick all the salt out of it.
Cashews are pretty good, too. And pistachios. The floor of my truck cab was crunchy with pistachio hulls for a good while. |

I love almonds, pecans, spanish peanuts drenched in hot fudge on Vanilla ice cream, honey roasted peanuts, honey roasted almonds and pecans. Macadamia nuts are awesome too. Pistachios are awesome as well.
Cashews are okay... I used to love them, but I don't like them as much anymore. I hate Brazil Nuts and filberts... GROSS. I wrote to planters and asked them if they could just leave thsoe out of the mixed nuts cans. They declined. Toasted Walnuts are fantastic.

I had a similar addiction to cashews and cans of mixed nuts. I used to eat them everyday- a whole big can. When I went to the allergist for food allergy blood testing, it turned out that I was "allergic" to cashews.
Sometimes, the foods you're addicted to are actually an allergy. I can't explain how it all works, it's not the anaphylactic (sp?) type, it's different. A google search on "allergy addiction" would explain it much better. I have the same thing with cheese. I can't touch it or I have to eat 8-12 oz a day until I'm sick as hell and I have no choice but to stop. Then again, maybe you just like nuts ![]() |

Huge fan of macadamias.
And the honey roasted peanuts that overtake NYC's sewer and subway odors in the winter. Yum.
