North American Union

I just came across the fact that the United States, Canada, and Mexico are working together to create something that might lead to an North American Union, roughly based off the European Union. The only debate right now is over a superhighway connecting Canada to Mexico but this could lead to other things.

While I am all in favor of the unification of the three nations into a superstate in theory, I don't know how it will play out too in real life. We can give the Mexican economy a big boost and strengthen our currency with changing it to the Amero we will also have to make a new constitution. This would make it possible for cheap Mexican labor to flood to the United States, seprating the rich poor gap even more.

While I think this idea could be very good, it could also hurt us tremendously. What does everyone else think about this?

I think it is eerie how much it sounds like what all the Illuminati freaks have been saying all along... and the Constitution was just dismantled... hmmmmm?

No need. The WTO already has the ability to override it and I'm assuming and North American Union would simply expand on the same principle.

Time to get rid of this, have the US government take the Federal Reserve and return the Constitution and empower all citizens with it's full protection at ALL times.
In other words... it is time for a revolution, because the current government is not going to relinquish the power it will take to do what is right and good, the above.
BTW, the North American Union could exist while maintaining the above for US citizens... but I do not believe that it's purpose is what is being stated. It is for the further desolation of citizen's rights and the continuation of the police state.

Perhaps he meant 200?

Quote:
“God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... what country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms... The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. It is it's natural manure.”
-- Thomas Jefferson to William S. Smith on Nov. 13, 1787. The Papers of Thomas Jefferson, ed. Julian P. Boyd, vol. 12, p. 356 (1955).

Well you already have the North American trade agreement don't you? Isn't a union of other laws the next logical step?

That's how it happened in Europe and it seems to be working quite well for them so far.

Fantastic! We can have an even more isolated elite group of individuals making the rules for a larger number of people they know little about. >_< I'll be the first to join your militia, rkzenrage.
