Perhaps they will clamp the cars and charge a £60 release fee? It's private land after all, and I know some workplace carparks in city centres have signs up to this effect. Good news, good news though. I want them to have someone standing at the Pick Up Point as well, and waving off cars which are obviously sat there while someone "just pops in" but I am a self-confessed parking reactionary. |

Just wondering (completely off topic), SG, how do you make a pound sign on your keyboard? I'm not well traveled, so in the UK does the pound sign replace the dollar ($) sign (shift 4)? I know I could press alt + num key #s or just look it up in symbols but does it exist on your keyboard?

£ == left alt *and* numeric keypad 1 5 6 But I suspect it's built into her keyboard, and her Windows is localized for the UK. But, I'm just guessing.

Tis built into our keyboards - shift 3 is £, shift 4 is $ We have to go hunting for the euro, although I expect it will make its way onto the keyboard sometime soon...

I learn something knew every day. If shift 3 is £....where do you get #? That's US shift 3. Btw, my girlfriend's computer has the Euro as it's own button (it's a new Acer laptop, but still sweet)! |
