iphone law suit

Quote:
N.Y. woman sues Apple, Jobs over iPhone price cut
She wants $1M in compensatory damages and punitive damages on top of that
Story

Shouldn't there be a court set up to triage frivolous lawsuits like this? Sure, anybody can sue for anything, but how about two court systems - one for serious suits and another for frivolous ones. A judge could make a quick and dirty determination for which track the suit follows.

Alas, there is really none, except in the US Supreme Court, where case selection is done by their clerks.

I guess this is one of the consequences of 'having the first one'. Even Jobs was sure that he didn't expect such a price turnover so quickly.
