We're doing great--ridiculously so, in fact. She only wakes up once or twice a night, so I'm honestly not even sleep-deprived. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, where she suddenly decides she's going to be like the first kid and wake up every single hour, but so far so good. And when they say that it gets easier with subsequent operations, they're not kidding. I'm off the meds entirely, and for the most part pain-free. I'm still using a chair to help Minifob get himself in and out of his crib, but only because I'm supposed to--I could lift him if I needed to.

This weekend was the first time my stepkids came over since she was born, and it went pretty well. The 9 y.o. girl was predictably entranced by cuteness, while the 6 y.o. boy was indifferent at best, but that's still a higher regard than he has for the toddler, so we'll take it.
