Ohhhh. We just called 'em curd tarts in Bolton. Used to love those.
I agree on the Lemon Curd front: nowt wrong with that. Nor indeed marmalade. Marmalade Atkins rocked! I think Tracey Beaker is a little like a modern version of Marmalade.
