busterb NSABFD Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: MS. usa Posts: 3,908	DSL modem fees Today I got a notice from phone co. Pay 2.95 a month for modem maint. or pay 150.00 for new one + 35.00 for installation, if this one goes bad. Is this common? or just something else they have dreamed up? BTW, the phone co. owns the dsl & cable also. Last month they added a 1 buck inside wire main. charge on cable. !@#$% I nstalled the inside cable. Go figure. BB __________________ I've haven't left very deep footprints in the sands of time. But, boy I've left a bunch.
