The Meaning of Penis

In one of my proto-simian moods I came up with an interesting posit: take a famous quote including the word LIFE and substitute PENIS.

To wit:

Hobbes: "... the penis of man, solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short."

Lennon: "Penis is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."

Cowper: "Variety's the spice of penis, That gives it all its flavour."

Anon: "Penis is just a bowl of cherries." (or a box of chocolates if you're Gumpish)

Pitkin: "Penis Begins at Forty."

Hubbard: "Penis is just one damned thing after another."

Longfellow: "... Into each penis some rain must fall, ..."

Grenfell: "... penis goes on, ..."

Kennedy: "Penis is unfair."

Ebb: "Penis is a cabaret, old chum."

Clark: "Whose Penis Is It Anyway?"

The Book of John (Bible): "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his penis for his friends."

Spock in 'Star Trekkin', by The Firm: "It's penis, Jim, but not as we know it."
