re: Spammers - Let's Fight Back
Well, instead of reporting spammers like i usually do....
I have been opening the spam mail and extracting the "return path" (Note: The "FROM" line is usually forged) (whatever info they entered in their browser.) NOW: Using this name and address, just sign them up for anything free that doesn't require confirmation. Use your imagination....eCards, free offers. free list updates. Hell, you might even find some of those eCards that allow Multiple recipients so that you can have a bunch of the spammers "send cards to each other" =============================== One other suggestion: If you have a web page that has email links, you might want to add a spot for the spammers, so that when those "robots" come around to harvest email addresses......(I think you get the idea.)
