Engineering Help

How do you measure "slightly?"
I asked Whrilpool for help about a Crosely ac I bought. This is my first question.
I've tried to install per your instructions. I have a question. Can anyone tell me at what angle the unit shoud be when finished? Should it be level or with a little outside tilt?
Thanks busterb
The reply.
Thank you for visiting the Whirlpool website, we appreciate hearing from you.
Once the air conditioner is installed, the back should be slightly tilted down if installed in a window.

Whirlpools value you as a consumer and we appreciate your business.
My reply.

Thanks, but I'm a bit confused as how to measure "slightly." Is that kind of like when your wife "slightly" has a small accident with the car and totals the thing?
