Wood repair help

Yea.I know, but there's some great woodworkers on here.

My old house has ¼” cabinet grade plywood for paneling. Some has to be removed. Beyond repair. Some can maybe, be repaired. The veneer has turned loose in a few places. I really would like to save what I can. Some of it is black walnut. I’ve looked at glue injectors, and other things. But I seem to get TMI about glues and other things.
I think I’ve worked out a do-dad to put pressure on the places that need work.
I have no idea what glue to use or how to get it where it needs to be.
