Justice For the Border Patrol

Hello all,

I'm a relatively new member/lurker. (Didn't post to the lurker post wasn't sure I qualified).

I was wondering if anyone has been following the case about the two border patrol agents that have been shafted by our justice department? Re/ Walter B. Jones is going all out in Texas to get petitions signed to have Bush grant them a full pardon. They were given twenty year sentences for what they say was their job. The gov't says otherwise?? A man smuggling 700 lbs. of dope across the border pulled a weapon on the agents and one shot back.

I've heard stories on the radio that say the agents were trying to cover something up by picking up the casings and not reporting the shooting immediately. The drug dealer was shot in the buttocks (exit wound suggest he was turned and firing at agents).

The link I found was www.justicefortheborderpatrol.com

Just curious what the collective minds here had to say. I'm not anti-marijuana but twenty years for shooting a drug dealer seems really harsh.

Thanks - me not in "good humor" ~ romuh doog.
