there used to be a deli right near my moms house. When I say right near, I mean that it was the closest store save one. It was about a 5 minute ride in the car, or a 2 hour ride by bicycle with a gang of friends.

Wright's Deli.

They made a Pizza steak that actually melted in your mouth. You hear people say that..."it melts in your mouth" but they are just being poetic. These fucking things actually melted in your mouth. They had great sauce, and put the perfect combination of cheese and steak in there......I dont know what else....could have been diced babies, but they were special.

They also made a kickass turkey club on wheat. BIG.

The ride home was always a little harder. Full tummies, and more uphilliness. We used to get garbage pail kids there too.

It's a shame...the new Acme squeezed their business out so bad that they sold, and are now a catering company....."whopdego's or something
