It may have been multiple bites, like if the spider had gotten into his clothes or a shoe. Shoe's more likely, since that's where black widows like to hide, if I recall correctly.
Or he may have just had a weak immune system/been allergic to the black widow toxins. Other then those to scenarios, I don't believe it would have been possible for the widow to have killed him. |
