True Blood
Anybody see this on HBO? It's based on one of my favorite series, the Southern Vampire stories by Charlaine Harris.
So far, it's sticking pretty close to the books. Dunno about the casting of Anna Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse, though. She's a good actress, but doesn't quite match my physical impression of Sookie. She's not . . . stacked enough, for one thing  (and she looks awful as a blonde)We'll see!
