No, the biggest problem is that I simply would not get permission to work in America. I guess because too many people just disappear into the system, a la Obama's Aunt. I could have done it at 18 - I wanted to be a camp worker, but only bewteen boyfriends. Regrets, I've had a few, but then again, I've had more blowjobs... (sorry, it was what a male friend of mine used to sing, always made me laugh.)

Still - I'm at a point where I'm starting life again anyway. I like my job, I have a cat and I might, just might, get a post as a child mentor. That ties me to this country and after all that's what life is about - commitments and perseverance.
