Well it's Friday, which means critter time in IOtD.
Usually the Friday critter is a warm and fuzzy type, but today is cold and fuzzy.

Jonco, over at Bits & Pieces, posted these pictures with the explanation;

These pictures come from a friends friend who lives in Alaska. This caribou froze while standing up in -80°F winds on the North slope at the top of Alaska.

It looks to me like a young female, but I'm having a hard time getting my head around her freezing solid while standing up. I suppose the "pose" could be from bracing against the wind, but it sure looks unnatural.
