Interesting side note on Cash4Gold's commercial: They had run late night commercials for a while, but just prior to this big super bowl commercial, they tried to clean up their image on the web. Rob Cockerham, of Cockeyed.com fame, had written about his friend's experience dealing with cash4gold, and how they try to rip you off. Because of Cockeyed's popularity, this article is ranked #2 in Google search results. If you do a google search for cash4gold, the second thing listed is "Cash4Gold Will Offer One-Third of the Actual Value for your Gold."

Needless to say, cash4gold doesn't like the negative publicity, so they offered Rob "a few thousand" to take the article down. Instead, he wrote about their offer.
