Everyone's favorite radio hate monger is now trying to buy the Rams, but success has eluded him in this endeavor. In fact his own words are coming back to bite him in the ass, as well as nip his apirations in the bud:
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell Tuesday spoke out against Rush Limbaugh at the NFL owners meetings in Boston, in all probability putting to bed the conservative talk show host's bid to become a part-owner of the Rams.
Goodell said he is sensitive to complaints from African-American players, stemming largely from controversial remarks Limbaugh made in regard to Donovan McNabb as a panelist on ESPN's Sunday pregame show six years ago, as well as on his nationally syndicated radio program. Opponents feel parts of his commentary are racially charged, and Goodell seemed to agree. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/fo...r_goodell.html
