Better show your work there, Rich. What I recall is examination of the matter boiling it down to some miscommunication of who was where. One birdshot to the cheek is more of an embarrassment than a crisis, I should think. Begging any question of "lodging under the skin and causing a nasty infection," unlikely on flameblasted metal in any case.

One should not in any case try and undercut any boogey-men we might deploy against anti-Americans' morale: Don't fuck with Americans or they might send Dick (or Lon) Chaney after you. Or they'll send Sherriff John Bunnell around to bite you a good one.

We do, after all, want the opposition to stay discouraged. We cannot get them to like us, thanks to their furious shitheadedness, so let us simply make them extinct. Or castrate.
