Jim , What I do is have an Out Look grab ALL My gmail every Now and then , Then Take a Match to the Gmail box ( aka Delete EVERY thing !!!!)
then All your Emails are search able and Sortable , even when your Off Line , And YES that Has come in handy , as I have Blown Off Important Emails that I Needed to find . It'll Proll take a few days to grab All yer stuff , and You Dont have to use Out Look
