Peter Schickele / PDQ Bach question

Many years ago I was driving and heard part of a radio program where a man was describing the members of an orchestra and the personalities of each type of musician. He would start out each description sounding very factual and serous and then slip in these outrageous defamatory statements along the lines of

"The Clarinetist is responsible for x,y, and z in the orchestra and practices this that and the other thing, blah blah blah. It is well known that all Clarinetists are drunks and closeted homosexuals.

The violin section is composed of ..."

I didn't get to hear who was doing this routine, but my dad said he thought it was Peter Schickele.

Anyone heard of this?
