I've done it all by the book. The working, the paying taxes, the voting, the compliance to law. (Well, no one is perfect but I'd say I'm a pretty normal Merkin.)

Would you please, I'm begging you, PLEASE, stop fucking with me every single time I turn around? Just when I think it's OK: WHAM, you say. Here, bitch, you say...take THIS and take THAT and deal with it.

Seems it's easier for you to hand out crap to moaners and attack those with legitimate claims. If I were married to you, Government, your clothes would be out on the lawn and the locks would be changed...'cause you ain't loved me in a very long time.

I promise to try to take more advantage of you, and to take you more for granted, if you would just please stop fighting me for the respect (and by respect I mean benefits) I've earned since I was a teenager.

I would recommend we go to couples counseling, but I'm sure you wouldn't be able to find the time...what with all the riffraff you keep on the side.
