I have weird associations with Metformin from when I was a fertility patient, because it's also a treatment for PCOS-- which they swore I didn't have, but they tried it anyway because nothing else was making me ovulate, and damn if I didn't start immediately. If it weren't for Metformin, I might not have kids.

Anyway. Self-indulgent tangents aside, I'm glad things are finally looking up for you guys. Is she planning on just getting the implants, or has she thought about a tattoo to cover the scars? I have some wispy hint in my mind that you're a tattoo fan, CG, though I could be misremembering that.
