Decoding, decifering, voyeuring
Got some extra time to kill during the long cold gray months? Like puzzles and anagrams?
The University of Minnesota is looking for volunteers for the transcription and decoding of Civil War telegrams. It's not code breaking and you can do it at home, but deciphering handwriting from 150 years ago, when American English was different, isn't easy. Check it out.
