In answer to the question, and I don't know if this is a major factor or not, but it's hard to "finish" in the back door. Assuming that "longer to finish" equals "better finish" (more pressure build up) that could be a reason.

Other reasons: subjugation/humiliation (which either the top or the bottom might be into), the 'taboo' --we're doing something naughty, the 'special event' aka wife says "I'm giving you something different tonight", the aesthetic --large thing disappears into small thing, or the general featureless of it, and

a HUGE factor

it feels good to the girl

as far as 'internal' O and 'external' O, some girls can only 'internal' O from the back door. and as far as external stimulation, the increased friction and accompanying 'displacement' of skin could work it's way up to the C button (which is incidentally the very tip of a LARGE INTERNAL ORGAN that they don't teach us about in anatomy textbooks)
