Britain's esteemed Daily Mail is still on the case.

They showed a brief video of the same boys, same day, catcalling a group of girls walking by, and one of the girls caught video the very end of it.
The girls didn't seem terribly angry and one yelled back, how old are you.
C'mon they're high school kids, I don't want to hear about toxic masculinity or toxic feminism.

Yelling and taunting opposing teams in High School is not good sportsmanship or unusual.
No reason to assume it's because the kid was black, he's from another school, he is the enemy.

The kids painted black is a little bit more concern, I wonder what the school colors are.
Some Eagles fans paint themselves green, I've seen Packers fans in green, white and yellow.
So it could be that. I don't know

Apparently the school has "black day" and "white day", where the fans will paint themselves black or white. No idea what the significance is, but assuming an innocent explanation for the black paint in general does not justify the minstrel show big white lip paint. And even assuming the kid(s) who did it had no idea, the adults in the room should have told them to go fix it.

My opinion of Sandmann has wavered with the various waves of news, but my opinion of the adults of the school has only gone down, and didn't start high.

Well, a few days ago the nation had a rush to instant judgement based on a single image -- and then everyone had to back off because they learned from the bigger picture that they didn't have all the facts. Let us not rush to judgement again.

I think you're looking at the first picture. Look at the pointed, curled ends of the lip makeup on the "blackface" dude. Pointed, curled ends are not standard blackface. They would kind of ruin blackface; they are however standard on "joker face".
