I don't know if it's common but my life has been a series of, oh shit what have I done, how am I going to fix/cope with this ?
9 times out of 10, I knew I was doing it and didn't much care, or didn't think it would be this bad. Wrong ever time.  The only saving grace is I was only hurting myself.
