That was the lesson I drew from Obama, myself. Obama never once got my vote -- he desperately wanted socialism, the lesser way, lesser than capitalism, and could not get it -- did a lot for gun sales, too, notably rifles of 5.56mm bore and twenty or thirty rounds' magazine capacity. Semiautomatic, too.

Even a budget-minded Pasty-Faced Basementdweller (Alba subterranea) like yourself would have a hard time living on any difference -- and you in particular show zero inclination to ever try it. Along with zero inclination to address civil rights and how to get and keep them -- not your strong suit.

Reduced liberty is liberty reduced -- were that the case in the late 1970's, you wouldn't be typing on a computer now. Reduce liberty and you reduce innovation. Undertoad could tell you his new car includes no socialist-developed components. Socialist places produce -- Trabants. For innovation, socialism has to parasitize capitalism.
