Great image. I am amazed at how small they are. Even now they look like they could tear your finger off.
I remember as a child, you could buy baby alligators at K-Mart. Horned toads, too. Imagine that. I understand that an alligator is relatively docile compared to the salt water croc. Glad they didn't sell us kids crocs........
* Second thought: the baby gators they sold us were probably the sole explanation to the success of another novelty in that era. The "Sixfinger"..
