 Ahh, the fair. My friend and I in High School used to count down the days every year...what a great place to scope out all the boys in the county! The smells of sugar waffles and pig barns. The sights of lights and giant stuffed animals. The kids screaming with delight and sometimes fear. Those were some great days. One year the army guy took us in his jeep to a nearby open field to go what we called turfin'. We were in hog heaven, so to speak.
