Wendy Richards, Miss Brahms of Grace Bros was talking about John Inman on BBC Radio 4's Today programme, yesterday morning. It is the programme without which my day simply cannot begin, anyway as usual I digress.

She said about him that his humour and his jokes were of the 'self-cleaning' variety, to which no-one could really take offence. Interesting way of describing him and so true. He was unique and will be terribly missed especially as Christmas panto dame, to which he brought sheer magic.
