i picked up some of that tabasco chipotle sauce today, and damn, it is good. i looked at the selection of salsa available and the best they have is robertos, but i might as well have bought a can of spicy v8. ~james |

OMG a spy hunter arcade machine, that game is so damn addicting, I used to play that for hours back when my NES was still working.
I need to talk my mother into making salsa this fall again, she made some a couple years back and it was the best salsa I've ever had. Used to eat a plate of nachos smothered in the stuff about every 3 days last summer.

Tobasco is better warm, but I would definitely refrigerate it. My stepmom bought this sauce from somewhere that's spicy blackberry. That stuff was good on just about anything!

Git a rope...
Here are a few sites that list scoville ratings for some of the more popular hot sauces and peppers: http://www.victoriastation.com/scoville_units.htm http://www.tabasco.com/html/thermotroppler.html http://www.fiery-foods.com/dave/heat.html http://wiw.org/~corey/chile/scoville.html http://homecooking.about.com/library...lhotchiles.htm |

I agree with vsp (talk about long gone... wow.) Tabasco does have a larger palette of flavors than they used to. I use hot sauce freely and my favorite, by far, is the Chipotle smoked pepper sauce. Just... wow. It is DELICIOUS, and the heat is a nice coincidence.
